SBMI was established during 2017 for manufacturing of Wear Resistant Castings. Our integrated unit has latest globally accepted modern state of art technology for manufacturing of such castings. We have a team of sincerely dedicated skilled professionals for providing most economical grinding solutions to user industry. We are a leading composite solution provider for Grinding Media and Mill Internals.
We are an ISO: 9001-2008 approved company and are offering following services to cement, minerals, fertilizers, chemicals and thermal power sectors of the country and abroad.
Mill Internals: Complete designing and manufacturing of mill liners, flow control and other type of diaphragms in High Chrome as well as Mn Steel compositions and supply of Hardware items like Liner Bolts and EPDM Rubber Sheets.
We do not intend to supply these items merely on commodity basis but provide complete services required for optimizing wear economics, power consumption and performance level of the mills by giving consideration and proper weightage to important factors like Mill dimensions, Grinding Circuit, characteristics of feed material (like size, grindeability, hardness and moisture contents etc.)
Users are normally mentioning only chemical composition and hardness of High Chrome Liners in their enquiry which is not sufficient for assessing/ comparing quality level of these items from different manufacturers. The metallurgy involved in High Chrome Alloys is highly complex and also the manufacturing technology adopted by different manufacturers which necessitates full understanding of alloy characteristics and production technologies for developing full confidence in the manufacturer and the product. It is an established fact that Mertensite phase and chromium carbides have maximum wear/ abrasion resistant properties and as such microstructure evaluation should be given maximum weightage at the time of comparing quality from different manufacturers. An ideal High Chrome Alloy should reflect following micro-structural characteristics.
High Chrome Grinding Liners are manufactured by us confirming to following specifications as per BS : 4844 as well as against specific requirements of customers.

Different items manufactured by us in Mn Steel are listed below-,
Mn. Steel Castings are manufactured by us in electric induction furnace confirming to various grades of IS:276/2000 with following specifications followed by most suitable heat treatment cycle adopted for improving wear resistivity of these castings.
We agree for pre-dispatch inspection of material manufactured by us either by customers Inspection Officer or from any Third Party M/s. Lloyds Register, S.G.S., etc. depending on requirement of customer. In such cases necessary facilities for testing of material shall be provided by us on free of charge basis but inspection charges and other expenses of inspection agency are to be borne by the customer.
Mn Steel Castings manufactured by us can be tested for following physical, chemical and NDT test as per customer requirement.
| Sl/No | Testing Name |
|---|---|
| 01 | Chemical Composition |
| 02 | Hardness |
| 03 | Microstructure |
| 04 | Tensile Strength |

| 07 | Angel Of Band |
| 08 | Dye Penetration |
| 09 | Ultrasonic |
| 10 | Magnetic Particle Detection |
| 11 | Radiographic on extra cost |
We have all testing facilities required for physical testing and chemical analysis of these castings in our Laboratory and as per requirement of IS: 2376/1980. Routine testing is done during the process of manufacturing as well as during final inspection before delivery of materials. All consignments shall be accompanied with test certificate from our laboratory for chemical composition and physical parameters like hardness, bend angle and ultrasonic testing.
